About the artist

I am an artist who explores human emotions through color, simplicity, and abstract visuals. My work focuses on communication, color theory, and geometric elements.

I create my work by sketching the layout, inking in the patterns, and varnishing to create blocked out patterns with ink and colored pencil. The way each elements interact is meant to engage the viewer a probe an emotional reaction. Human subjects were chosen to be visually eye catching and slow the viewer down when viewing the collection.

Ultimately, my goal is to have people stop, take a moment to perceive art, and mentally record what they are feeling as they dissect the interaction between sections of each portrait. I invite the viewer to stay and observe each piece for 15-30 seconds conclude to a feeling.
